City of Palouse:
03/04: Suspicious Circumstances, 400 Block E. Mohr Street. A resident called to report an unsecured premise. An officer checked and secured the building.
03/05: Junk Vehicle, 100 Block W. Bluff Street.
03/07: Assist Moscow Police in issuing notice of infraction.
03/07: Traffic Complaint, Main and Bridge Streets. A caller reported a pedestrian was nearly struck by a vehicle walking across Main street. An officer spoke to the driver and the pedestrian.
03/08: Suspicious Vehicle, 100 Block N. Bridge Street.
03/09: Animal Problem, 200 Block W. Alder Street. A resident complained of a neighbors dogs barking and for their having too many dogs. A verbal warning was issued.
03/09: Assist Washington State Patrol, Vehicle Slide-off, SR 27.
03/11: Assist Whitman County Sheriff’s Office, Traffic Complaint, Tailgating, SR 27.
03/11: Littering, 100 Block N. Bridge Street. A caller reporting someone dropping multiple cigarette butts on the ground.
03/13: Barking Dog, 700 Block E. Alder Street. Caller reported neighbor’s dog barking at 0630. Owner contacted, verbal warning issued.
03/16: Dog at Large, 100 Block W. Alder. Caller reported loose dog. The officer was unable to locate the dog or its owner.
03/17: Concealed Pistol License renewal application.
03/21: Suspicious Person, Lion’s Club Park. A caller reported a man camping in the park without permission. An officer contacted and identified the man. The man was told he would need to make other arrangements.
03/22: 911-Hangup, 300 Block W. Mohr Street. The resident reportedly misdialed while trying to dial a different number. An officer checked the residence.
03/23: Noise Complaint, 400 Block N. Division Street. A resident reported loud music coming from a vehicle parked in a driveway. An officer contacted the driver and issued a verbal warning.
03/28: Found Property, SR 27 near Tidwell Rd. A man turned in a Washington driver license found while walking along the roadway.
Town of Garfield:
03/02: Credit Card Fraud. The reporting party told an officer his credit card had been fraudulently charged $75.00 somewhere in Florida. The party’s financial institution was notified.
03/08: Dog At Large, Main and 6th Streets. An officer was unable to locate the dog.
03/13: Motor Vehicle Collision (Report Only). A resident reported damage to vehicle. The damage did not occur within Garfield, but rather either in Colfax or Spokane.
03/16: Suspicious Circumstances. A resident reported that new checks mailed from the bank never arrived.
03/17: Vehicle VIN Verification.
03/20: Paper Service, 200 Block N. 7th. An officer posted foreclosure notice on the door of a residence.
03/20: Juvenile BB Gun Violation, 5th and California Streets. An officer contacted the juvenile and had him take the gun home and put it away. Verbal warning issued.
03/23: Suspicious Circumstances, 500 Block W. Main Street. A caller reported the door to a home wide open. Two officer conducted a search for persons within, and then secured the residence. The resident was later notified.
03/26: Animal Problem, 600 Block W. Spokane Street. A resident reported that his dog was old and sick, and would have it destroyed.
03/27: Dog At Large, Multiple Locations. A large yellow shaggy dog was reported running loose. The officer was unable to capture the dog, nor determine who it belonged to.
03/30: Dog At Large, 100 Block W. Spokane Street. A resident reported a dog running at large defecating in lawns and overturning garbage cans.
