AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALOUSE,
WASHINGTON, amending Ordinance No. 703 and 661, and Palouse Municipal Code
Section 13.20.065, providing for the payment of a portion of the water system
revenues received from water systems customers to the newly established
"Water System Reserve Fund" in place of the "Water Well Reserve
Fund."

IT HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALOUSE, WASHINGTON, as
follows:
Section 1. Palouse Municipal Code Section
13.20.065 and those portions of Ordinance Nos. 703, Section 1, and 661, Section
1, which are codified as Palouse Municipal Code Section 13.20.065 are hereby
amended to read as follows:
"13.20.065 - Funding for water system reserve fund.
In addition to the monthly rates established for water service under Sections
13.20.030 and 13.20.060, the following sums shall be paid by water system
customers to fund the water system reserve fund:
A. Single-family residence: Three dollars
per month per service connection.
B. Multi-family and apartment houses:
Three dollars per month per service connection for one initial base dwelling or
apartment unit, plus one and one half dollar per month for each additional
dwelling or apartment unit per service connection.
C. All other uses: Three dollars per month
per service connection.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after January 1, 2003.
